Welcome

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you all to join the EAU 7th South Eastern European Meeting which will be held in Skopje on the 14th and 15th of October 2011.

During the last few decades the urological science and surgery are constantly developing in the region of the Balkans and in South Eastern Europe in general. According to that endourology, laparoscopy, transplantations, radical operations of the urogenital cancer followed by state of the art methods of urinary derivation as well as other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are already standard procedures in this region.

The urologists from South East Europe with their permanent contact with their colleagues from worldwide and with the participation at the international meetings are approaching and maintaining our urology in the frames of the modern surgery and medicine.

Therefore, the organising committee wishes to thank Prof. Per-Anders Abrahamsson, Secretary General of the EAU, and Prof. Michael Marberger, Chairman of the EAU Regional Office, for the presence, supporting us and for giving us the chance for organizing this important meeting.

The Advisory Board has prepared an up to date scientific program. The lecturers, the regional and European leaders in urology will have their lectures on several actual topics and their presence will rise the scientific value of the meeting.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Skopje to meet with colleague urologists, learn new perspectives and make new friends.

Sincerely yours,

Prof. Zhivko Popov
